These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Colmena website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility and Account Use

The Service is intended for invited adult users who participate in a local family exchange community. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for activity that occurs under it.

2. Community Safety and Content Standards

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not upload, share, request, or send content that is unlawful, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise unsafe for the community.

Users can report listings and block other users directly in the Service. We review reports, pause or remove offending content, and investigate abusive behavior. Violations of these terms may result in content removal and account suspension within 24 hours.

3. Moderation and Enforcement

All bundles are subject to moderation before they go live. We may review, pause, reject, remove, or restore listings and may suspend or terminate accounts when needed to protect the community, comply with the law, or enforce these terms.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate account and listing information, communicate honestly with other users, and use the Service only for its intended family-exchange purpose. You must not misuse the Service, attempt to bypass moderation or blocking features, or interfere with other users’ access.

5. Reservations, Messaging, and Blocking

Reservation, messaging, and account interactions are provided to support local exchanges. If you block another user, we may restrict or remove shared surfaces between both accounts, including listing visibility and reservation messaging where applicable.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe a user has violated these terms, created safety risk, or compromised the integrity of the Service.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
